Conservators at the National Archives have been retrieving Baghdad’s vanished Jewish past by restoring a trove of water-logged books and documents retrieved from the flooded basement of Saddam Hussein’s secret police headquarters. The material eventually will be returned to Iraq.
The National Archives have been utilizing DT Division of Cultural Heritage products to digitize these materials that will be featured in a major exhibit on October 11th. They have been using the DT RGC180 Capture Cradle with DT RCam Reprographic Camera and a Phase One P 65+ digital back. Click here for more details on these Division of Cultural Heritage products.
